Clash of the Elements — Technical Optimisation @ Grendel Games

Clash of the Elements is an honorable mention in my portfolio as my 2018 graduation project. It showcases techniques to run on the technical minimum of a Samsung Galaxy S3—a phone from 2012.

The game uses just five 128px textures, fakes transparency and reflections, uses flat shading, designs characters with fewer bones, and uses animated meshes for particles.

I collaborated with a developer on this project, taking full responsibility for all visuals, including 3D models, animations, particles, as well as UI and UX design.
